20-minute (free) introductory phone call or Zoom meeting with Mary Anne. This is to help determine next steps.
If you would like to learn more now, click here.Following the initial free 20-minute introductory consultation, Mary Anne will have a 1.5-2 hour meeting to listen and gather information regarding the new client's situation, needs, and goals.
At the conclusion of this meeting, for those who proceed to receive comprehensive planning or investment services, an initial financial planning retainer is required. That retainer could be more – or less – depending on the complexity of the client’s situation. Exceptions may be made depending on the assets being brought under management and will be determined with mutual agreement.
If the new client is an employer plan participant in an employer plan that MAMR Wealth Management services, there’s no initial engagement fee.
If a client chooses to receive ongoing fee-only financial organizing/planning guidance, then the quarterly cost is sliding scale according to the client’s income & asset complexity. Minimum $1000 per quarter.
Hourly charges for “one-off” financial planning, research, and/or recommendations, start at $360 per hour.
Managed investment accounts are charged 2%. A separate holistic planning charge is either included in that %, or charged independently. The amounts are determined based on factors including the size of the account and the individual's situation, and are clearly disclosed prior to the account opening process.
Sometimes a relevant solution can involve a product that pays a commission to MAMR. Examples: life insurance, long term care “hybrid” insurance contracts, commissionable investment products such as certain preferred share classes, etc.. Such a product is implemented only after careful consideration and mutual agreement.
Generally, in the first year, there are 3 new client meetings after the initial brief introductory meeting. First, to establish what action recommendations there are. Next, to check the implementation of those recommendations and discuss any questions. Finally, to discuss the accounts or “to do’s” after they’ve been established, to see progress or cover questions.
After the first year, depending on the size of the assets under management, or the complexity of the financial picture, the client has from 1 to 3 meetings a year with Mary Anne.
Just let us know, and we’ll schedule what we call a “one-off” meeting.
