Henry Harris III, CPA, MBA is President of Money Concepts Financial Planning Centre in Plano and Pilot Point, TX.  His firms provide quality and professional assistance in retirement planning, financial planning, investment services, life insurance, tax planning and preparation, bookkeeping and payroll services to individuals and small-to-medium sized businesses. 

In addition to his independent offices, Henry is a Certified Public Accountant of the accounting firm of Altland and Harris Financial Group, Inc. where he is the owner and CEO.  The guiding principle on which the company was founded is to provide individual and business clients with the best in comprehensive accounting, tax and financial planning services.  

Henry has a true passion for finance, so his profession was a natural fit for his interests and aptitude.  Having worked in corporate America, he always longed to have his own company.  In 2008 he founded Altland and Harris Financial Group, Inc.

Henry holds various licenses including Series 6, 7, 63, 65, 22 and the Texas Life, Accident and Health Insurance license.  He is also an Investment Advisor Representative with Money Concepts.

Henry was born and raised in Chicago, Illinois but has been a Texan for 25 years and counting.  He attended Florida A&M University in Tallahassee, FL graduating Cum Laude and earning a BS with majors in Accounting and Mathematics.  He then attended Texas A&M University in College Station, TX.  Following studies abroad in France and Mexico (Universidad del las Americas – Puebla), Henry earned his MBA from Texas A&M with a concentration in International Management.

As CFO & CEO of his accounting firm, he is responsible for establishing internal controls, treasury reporting, reviewing of client returns for best practices and is the lead for investment portfolio services. 

Henry fully understands what it means to give back to the community.  He has volunteered his time to tutor youth and adults in math, algebra and a variety of subjects.  He is currently serving as an adjunct professor at Collin County Community College where, each semester he teaches Certified Bookkeeping.  He further gives back by lending his knowledge and experience and serving as a SBDC volunteer where each month, he conducts a tax workshop, thereby helping small business get off to a good start.  Additionally, Henry stays in demand by serving on a not-for-profit as a Board of Director.
