- Becoming a financial planner takes several years and pay is lower while knowledge and experience are being gained. If you are not looking for a commitment, this is not the job for you.

- You must be able to commute to our office in Batesville, IN. To ensure client data is secure, all work is done in the office. No remote work.
- No college degree or experience is required. Training will be provided to new planners.
- Be aware pay is lower at first if you have less experience in planning/tax preparation.
- You must be interested in helping the middle class.
- Honesty, dependability, and people skills should be among your strongest traits.
- Planners meet face-to-face with clients and help them make a financial plan for their future.
- Planners perform many jobs "behind the scenes": preparing plans, fielding client calls, completing necessary paperwork, meeting with prospective clients, and much more.
- Planners should expect to prepare some tax returns during tax season as tax knowledge is a critical part of financial planning.
