Work with a purpose

  • Our mission is to save the middle class through comprehensive financial planning and building sound financial systems for young adults.
  • Having an impact on the lives of our clients and employees is our top priority.
Good, commission-based pay and flexible hours
  • Commission based pay rewards you fairly for what you achieve.
  • Tax preparation commissions and a sinking salary help supplement income in early years.
  • Ability to tailor schedule to be compatible with a job, school, or raising children.
Work for a well-established business
  • Tri-County Financial LLC has a 75+ year history of serving clients in our area.
  • Robust training program for new planners.
  • Make use of the extensive systems we have put in place.
Work with less stress
  • Stable client base provided to you, no need to hunt for clients.
  • Work-life balance is built into our company culture.
Opportunities for growth
  • Enormous potential for growth, both in compensation and in real-world impact.
  • True potential for a lifetime career.

  • Becoming a financial planner takes several years and pay is lower while knowledge and experience are being gained. If you are not looking for a commitment, this is not the job for you.
  • If you do not have an entrepreneurial mindset, you won’t benefit from the commission-based pay structure.
  • If you prefer to have a list handed to you of exactly what you must do each day, this job may not be for you.

  • You must be able to commute to our office in Batesville, IN. To ensure client data is secure, all work is done in the office. No remote work.
  • No college degree or experience is required. Training will be provided to new planners.
  • Be aware pay is lower at first if you have less experience in planning/tax preparation.
  • You must be interested in helping the middle class.
  • Honesty, dependability, and people skills should be among your strongest traits.

  • Planners meet face-to-face with clients and help them make a financial plan for their future.
  • Planners perform many jobs "behind the scenes": preparing plans, fielding client calls, completing necessary paperwork, meeting with prospective clients, and much more.
  • Planners should expect to prepare some tax returns during tax season as tax knowledge is a critical part of financial planning.
